ReShade is a high quality post-processing injector developed by Crosire that allows you to improve video quality without sacrificing framerates. Video gamers can take a significant advantage of using ReShade and SweetFX filters: by deactivating some parameters such as anti-aliasing (which uses a large amount of video memory and resources) and activating instead the anti-aliasing provided by ReShade, it is It is possible to obtain the same graphic rendering (if not higher for some games) while leaving the game framerate unchanged.
The filters parameters to adjust are many, but we at PUNTOGAMING as we go to test the games will provide you with the filter already preset. All you have to do is download it, unzip it and extract it to the SweetFX folder located in the game directory.
Is it possible to slide the image using the appropriate slider
NOTE: This image shows the real difference with the SweetFX filter and without the SweetFX filter
NOTE: The settings shown are indicative (referring to the most recent games anyway) and may however vary from game to game
HOW TO INSTALL FILTERS AND GRAPHIC EFFECTS (RESHADE + SWEETFX)
1- Download ReShade with support for SweetFX filters by clicking here;
2- Start the application, then choose the executable of the game on which to apply the effect (show image);
3- If the auto compiler does not recognize the game, choose the type of rendering to use (show image);
5- Unpack the archive you just downloaded. If the file was not downloaded from our website, rename it to “SweetFX_settings.txt” (without the quotes);
6- Copy the newly renamed file (filter) into the “SweetFX” folder located in the game’s main directory (show image), overwriting the old file (filter);
7- NOTE: For some games the ‘SweetFX’ folder is in turn located in other folders (such as ‘Binaries’, or ‘Win32’ or ‘Win64’). The most demanding users can download the new version of ReShade by clicking here, however, aware that the old SweetFX filters (the ones on our site to be clear) will not be compatible with this version.
If you have performed all the operations correctly, you will see this image in the upper left corner of the screen.
NOTE: When downloading SweetFX filters from the official website, make sure that the Shader (filter version) is “SweetFX v2.0”, otherwise you may see the error “Compiling effect… Failed!”. Obviously the filters made available by PUNTOGAMING have already been optimized and tested and therefore these are perfectly functional with ReShade 1.1.0. Most of the filters provided by PUNTOGAMING emulate anti-aliasing in an excellent way and therefore it is possible to disable the anti-aliasing filter on the mid-low end computers from the game options, to obtain higher performance in terms of framerate and quality of the image equal to the original.
